Los Angeles Porn Industry Players Endorses Hillary Clinton for President, “The Clintons are THE Porn-Friendly Choice for President”

EDITORIAL: Gotta ask yourself what Hillary Clinton has promised America’s underbelly of sex industries when both pimps and pornographers endorse her because they feel she’s the best candidate to further their business model . . . of pimping YOUR DAUGHTERS to the world as entertainment.

A vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote to turn America into the world’s biggest brothel where your daughters are the merchandise for sale. Dennis Hof would love that happening and since Porn Valley pimps all their industry owned pornstars, obviously, they would too!

Porn stars love Hillary Clinton

“I could never vote GOP,” says Nina Hartley, the legendary performer, director, and self-described feminist. To date, Hartley has played Hillary Clinton in porn movies a whopping four times, and Hillary’s got her vote, too. “If Hillary got the nomination I’d vote for her,” she says. According to Hartley, Hillary is “a corporate Democrat” and “a creature of the Machine, as well as a Clinton, so I don’t expect her to be a Girl Scout.” While Hartley agrees with Hillary’s stance on health care and reproductive rights, she says, “I know I’d dislike her stance on decriminalizing consensual sex work.” As Hartley sees it, Hillary has “her heart in the right place,” in terms of public service, but she’s “had to compromise to get where she is.”

Hartley’s not alone in her love of Hillary. “I’ll proudly vote for Hillary,” says Kit Maloney, founder and CEO of O’actually, a Boston-based, angel investor-backed adult content startup. For Maloney, who holds a graduate degree in gender and social policy from the London School of Economics, voting for Hillary makes good business sense. “We are a site devoted to women’s sexual pleasure,” says Maloney. “Whether it’s ensuring reproductive rights or equal pay, Hillary has the most impressive track-record for supporting policy that betters the lives of women.”

Not everybody in porn hoping to vote for Hillary is a woman. Brad Armstrong, a longtime performer and director for Wicked Pictures, says, “I’d have to go with Hillary.” To his mind, the Clintons are “at least a little kinky.” In Armstrong’s opinion, “Bill’s a stud, and you know that despite all those flowery business suits, Hillary’s got a little naughty in her, too.” At least in theory, as far as Armstrong can tell, the Clintons are the porn-friendly choice for president.

Jeff Dillon, who’s a consultant for adult site GameLink, plans on voting for Hillary because he thinks she’s the candidate most likely to protect the porn industry from its number one enemy: piracy. Dillon expects her “pro-American worker” stance “will lead to more laws against foreign sites allowing distribution of American copyrighted material, which has had a huge impact on the adult industry.” He predicts a Hillary presidency would provide the porn industry with safe harbor from government intervention. “I don’t believe she will go on witch hunts against the adult industry like Bush did,” he says. “She will focus on real issues that our nation is facing, like healthcare, our prison system, equal rights, education, [and] clean energy.”

Colin Rowntree, the CEO of Wasteland Studios, says a vote for Hillary is a vote for the economy. “Aside from the ObamaCare camel designed by a committee disaster, the economy is now in better shape than it has been in years after the questionable motivations of the Bush dynasty and their Republican and corporate cohorts,” he says. And what’s good for the economy could be good for the porn industry, which was hard it by the Great Recession.

An Ex-porn star lean right

Mary Carey is no stranger to politics. In California’s 2003 gubernatorial recall election, she ran for governor of California as an independent — she wasn’t elected but came in tenth out of 135 candidates — and in 2005, she announced her intent to run for lieutenant governor of California as an independent — and then declared herself a Republican after attending a Republican fundraiser (although she dropped out of the race in 2006 after her mother jumped off a four-story building). Today, she’s retired from performing in front of the cameras, but she appears as a feature dancer at strip clubs across America and hosts “The Mary Carey Happy Hour” radio show on porn production company Vivid Entertainment Group’s Vivid Radio channel on Sirius XM.

“Right now, I’m planning on reporting Republican,” Carey says. Still, she says, “I’m very torn between Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.” She’s leaning towards Rubio — for personal and political reasons. “I like that Marco Rubio is married to a [former] Dolphins cheerleader means we’d have a hot first lady,” she says. As for Rubio, “I think he’s the hottest candidate out there, and he would be by far one of the hottest presidential candidates of all time.” Plus, she says, “I love his stance on foreign policy.”

That said, she’d consider a vote for Jeb. “I’ve always liked him,” she says. “I was never a big fan of either Bush, until I went to fundraisers, and I loved Republicans.” Some may think Democrats are more porn-friendly, but as far as Carey is considered, Republicans are porn fans, too. “I got hit on by more drunk Republicans than I get hit on when I go to the AVN awards, which is like the porn awards,” she confided. “I think Republicans are fun. I want to have a fun president.”

Several years ago, Carey stated publicly that when she was 35, she would consider running for president. Now that she’s 35, she reveals, she’s not sure the timing is right. “I think right now I’m focusing on my radio career, but a little further down the line I’d like to focus on politics,” she says. “I think politics is so fun. And I want to give it my full attention.”

Overall, Carey doesn’t think a Republican president would give the porn industry too much trouble. “I think that right now our country is having so many bigger problems that I don’t think if a Republican did come into office, I think that worrying about the adult industry would be number 1,022 on his to-do list,” she says. “If a Republican comes into office and starts cracking down on adult, they’re focusing on the wrong things. The adult industry is a big money-making machine in the U.S., so let’s keep the money coming into the United States.”

People in porn endorse Bernie Sanders, too

“Bernie Sanders!” That’s Joanna Angel, the queen of alt-porn and owner of BurningAngel. Angel, who is Jewish, would love to see a Jewish president in 2016. “I would love to see a Jew in the White House!” she exclaims. “And his democratic socialist platform is very friendly to small businesses like mine.” Sanders might not be able to “come out and say, ‘I like pornographers,’” she says, but “he implies it by being very pro-freedom of speech and not having any pro-censorship platforms as part of his campaign.” For her, Bernie is a kindred spirit. “I love his DIY campaign funding,” she says. “It’s really punk rock!”

“Bernie Sanders definitely has our attention,” says Katie, a co-founder of The Worst Drug, a tech startup that aggregates porn GIFs. “We aren’t single issue voters, and the adult industry would not be our single issue, even if we were,” she says. “I feel far more strongly about the future of the internet, technology, and global communication in all forms than I do about adult content in particular.”

Another The Worst Drug co-founder, Raj, dissents. “I’m voting for Scott Walker,” he says, because it’ll improve their adult-focused company’s bottom line. “Walker supports abstinence-only sex education, which we all know is a gift to niche and deviant porn sites.”

A vote for Rand Paul

John Stagliano, the adult producer and director known as “Buttman,” who went toe-to-toe with the Department of Justice in a 2010 obscenity trial that resulted in all charges against him being dropped, says he’s voting for Rand Paul because he’s “the only one who can save the world!” Stagliano says, “Hillary would do well in the Republican primary, while most Republicans pile on the security state, NSA, TSA, and anti-terrorist bandwagon.” As he views it, the whole thing’s a tossup. “When The Donald and Amy Schumer are saying the same thing, although for different reasons, we know that there are wide cracks in our culture.” He concludes, “Whose antiwar now? Maybe Rand. Save us!”

Waka Flocka What?

Daniel Metcalf, an industry publicist, is thinking outside the box. “We need someone in the White House who has traditionally taken a strong stand in support of social enterprise projects in the developing world, and whose followers include the next generation of change agents,” he says. “It is for those two foundational reasons that I will be supporting Independent candidate Juaquin James Malphurs, best known as Waka Flocka Flame, in 2016.”

For now, Zak Smith, an adult performer and artist, remains undecided. He has one guiding light on Election Day: “I always vote as far left as the ballot will let me.”
